This blog is a collection of writings. It contains essays and research papers I wrote during my studies at university, and reports on various events. I have a BA in New Media and Digital Culture from Utrecht University. Currently I am a freelance text writer, editor and translator, and recently started teacher training to become an English teacher at secondary level.
I took evening classes in journalism and received a Certificate of Proficiency in English from the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations in June 2009. During university, I was an intern at the Institute of Network Cultures in Amsterdam, where I helped organise a conference on online video: Video Vortex.
I am passionate about language, Dutch and English. I plan to keep writing, editing and translating and become more experienced in the field. I am interested in people, film, new media, languages and music, and eager to discover and to learn. Don’t hesitate to give me any feedback!
