Because this is a blog of reports and reviews, I thought it would be nice to share with you my new backyard. Just a few minutes away from my modest rooms in a shared house, lies the Vroesenpark, next to Blijdorp Zoo. |
I live in the middle of the city, and what is a city without a park? So I searched on Google Maps, and there it was, all shiny and green. I grabbed my bicycle, my camera and a book, and ventured out into the undiscovered.
What I found was luscious green, grass, trees, water, and people. Lots of people enjoying this beautiful weather. Barbecueing, frisbeeing, sunbathing. Of course I had forgotten to bring my glasses and the soccer playing sausage dog called Ozzy was way more entertaining than my book, so for peace and quiet I wasn’t in the right place (for some odd reason I was thinking the park would be empty).
Anyway, I will no longer keep you in suspense.
The dog’s name was Ozzy?! Like the reptile my sister has :)
